An underground car park in Moruya will be the scene of Eurobodalla’s newest digital image and film competition.

Called Underground, the competition is open to young locals aged 11 to 24 and is part of Eurobodalla Shire Council’s Youth Week celebrations in April.

Young people can submit digital images and 15-second films taken on their mobile phones for the chance to win an iPhone or $100 cash.

All finalists in the competition will have their work displayed at the Underground exhibition, to be held in the Council administration building underground carpark on Friday 15 April from 5.30pm to 8.30pm, and on Saturday 16 April from 10am to 3pm.

Council’s community development coordinator Zoe Morgan says young people are avid photographers who are always taking and sharing images on their phones.

“Underground provides a platform for them to share some of their best images and video with the rest of the community and be recognised for their talent,” she said.

Entries can be made by text or email and close Monday 4 April, 2016 at 5pm.
