The last piece in the Tuross Head shared pathway puzzle will soon be in place when Eurobodalla Council starts work this month to construct the final stretch along Nelson Parade.

A new 160 metre timber boardwalk and concrete shared pathway will be built to join the two existing sections that currently end at Lavender Point boat ramp and the Tuross Beach holiday park.

The raised design of the boardwalk will protect the Norfolk Island pines growing around the headland, and a viewing platform and seat located at the mid-way point will be a feature.

Construction of the $230,000 boardwalk will commence this month and should be finished by July.
