Boroondara pools receive Life Saving Victoria’s Platinum Pool award

Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre and Ashburton Pool and Recreation Centre have received Life Saving Victoria’s (LSV) Platinum Pool award for providing outstanding levels of safety.

Recognising those facilities that have attained the highest level of safety requirements and standards, the centres have become 2 of only 25 Victorian aquatic facilities to receive the coveted award.

To achieve Platinum Pool status, Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre and Ashburton Pool and Recreation Centre had to undertake a series of rigorous assessments to ensure it met LSV’s criteria for the accreditation.
