Get ready for Arts in August

In August the Central Highlands celebrates its arts and culture scene – and it is becoming more vibrant each year!

Central Highlands Regional Council Mayor Kerry Hayes said this year’s program of registered events offered everything from craft to fine art and line dancing to drumming.

‘With almost thirty registered community events, workshops and entertainment there is something for everyone,’ Mayor Hayes said.

‘I encourage people to look at the program and why not try out something new this year, like a watercolour or oil painting workshop or experience Japan’s drumming export Yamato.’
