The community is encouraged to nominate local women for the Hidden Treasures Honour Roll which recognises the outstanding efforts of women volunteers in rural and regional NSW.

Nominating a rural woman for the Hidden Treasures Honour Roll is a great way to celebrate rural women from across NSW who give so much of their time to improving rural communities and neighbourhoods.

You can nominate a friend, family member, colleague, community worker – any rural woman who you believe makes your community a better place to live.

“Many women across the Lithgow LGA contribute so much to their communities,” said Lithgow City Council Mayor Ray Thompson. “This is a great opportunity to nominate them for this Honour Roll.”

Nominations close on 2 August 2019 – visit the Rural Women’s Network page on the NSW Department of Primary Industries website at dpi.nsw.gov.au where you can download an application form or complete one online.
