There’s still plenty of fun to be had at the Bathurst Winter Festival.
Mayor Cr Graeme Hanger OAM said thousands of locals and visitors had already enjoyed the Winter Festival, attending the two feature events, Ignite the Night and Brew and Bite and visiting the Winter Playground since it opened on Saturday 6 July.
“The festival runs through until 9pm on Sunday night (21 July) and there’s still plenty of activities and events to enjoy.”
Wednesday 17 July:Charles Sturt University will takeover the Winter Playground to celebrate Foundation Day – the day that marks the creation of Charles Sturt University in 1989.
Friday 19 July:Wrap up the work week with a visit to the Winter Playground Pop up Paradise with food and wine pop-ups adjacent to the ice rink between 4pm – 9pm.
The silent disco will also be in operation from 5.30pm
Saturday 20 July:Food & Tunes at the Winter Playground. Great music and food vans from 11am - 9pm. The silent disco will be in operation from 5.30pm.
Kick off and Kick on at Keppel Street is on again with a range of activities at local businesses.
Sunday 21 July:Sunday Fun Day Festival Farewell with Elton. Elton John will be on the playlist as we farewell the 2019 Winter Festival and get ready to party with Elton John in Bathurst in January 2020. There will be food vendors onsite from 11am – 9pm and the final silent disco of 2019 will be on from 5.30pm.
