Corangamite business operators can get one on one advice in their own shop from the retail guru who has worked with the Melbourne Fashion Festival.
The Great South Coast Speaker Series will present An Evening with Martin Ginnane at the Killara Centre, Camperdown, at 6 pm on Tuesday 6 August.
People from all service industries, not just retail, are invited to attend the free presentation where they can register for a one-on-one follow-up with Martin at their premises, also at no cost.
Corangamite Shire Economic Development & Tourism Coordinator Samantha Fox said Mr Ginnane had a wealth of experience and knowledge to share with businesses.
“The retail landscape is changing, which presents challenges and opportunities for businesses in regional areas,” Mrs Fox said.
“This is a rare opportunity to meet a real power player in the retail industry and get his insights into making a business succeed,” she said.
“Martin will share in-depth knowledge of industry trends, style and future direction, based on his years in domestic and international retail, business development and client engagement.”
Mr Ginnane helped grow Melbourne Fashion Festival and Melbourne Spring Fashion Week and spent 17 years attracting international brands to the city.
He was Deputy Managing Director of Downtown Duty Free and has managed major promotional events.
His firm, Ginnane & Associates, helps State and Local Governments, investors and major retailers develop long-term plans for economic growth.
Mrs Fox encouraged retailers to book for the event by going to www.eventbrite.com and searching for events in Camperdown.

The Great South Coast Speaker Series is presented by Corangamite and Moyne Shire Councils, Warrnambool City Council and Business Victoria.
