Entertainment on offer to escape the winter chill

Published on 23 July 2019

This August, escape the winter chill and be entertained with theatre shows and activities throughout the shire.

The unique Ag Art exhibition continues at the Kyneton Museum. This innovative exhibition features garments made from farming materials such as baling twine and hessian, repurposed into fashionable clothing by participants in the Wearable Agricultural Art Competition.

The winning entries will be on display at Kyneton Museum until September. The Museum is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 4pm, or by special appointment.

Shows bring light relief

Comic theatre show My Brilliant Divorce is bringing colour and movement to Kyneton.

A smash hit for Dawn French on the West End, Mandi Lodge stars in the Australian production of this irresistibly funny show. A much loved and acclaimed actress and singer, Mandi has performed nationally and internationally and brings this witty and warm ‘stand up tragedy’ to the stage at 8pm on Saturday 3 August.

For further light relief, comedian Arj Barker will bring his unique brand of humour to the town hall stage with his new show Arj Barker—We need to talk. This wickedly funny show is on at 8pm, Friday 16 August at Kyneton Town Hall.
