Queen Street – Road Closure

Burdekin Shire Council advises repairs to the pedestrian crossing in Queen between Target Country and Woolworths will be undertaken on Sunday 4 August 2019, weather and construction conditions permitting.

Queen Street will be closed at the pedestrian crossing to enable works to be undertaken safely and efficiently, on-street parking in the vicinity of the works will be available for use. Traffic will be detoured via Edwards, Macmillan and Parker Street during the road closure period.

Every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum for road users during the construction period. Burdekin Shire Council thanks residents and road users for their patience during these works.
