Water main upgrade works and Loss of Water Supply – Little Drysdale Street, Ayr

Weather permitting, from Monday 5th to Thursday 8th August 2019, Council will be undertaking water main upgrade works along Little Drysdale Street between Wickham and Queen Streets, Ayr.

As a result of these works, temporary traffic management controls will be in place with partial lane and full lane closures during this period.  Local access to your property and business may be restricted during Council’s construction period and all efforts will be made to keep this interruption to a minimum.

Council advises all residents and businesses connected to this water main, that there will be a loss of water supply from 11:00pm on Tuesday 6th to 4:00am on Wednesday 7th August, 2019 (approximately 5 hours).  This is due to planned infrastructure upgrades requiring water isolation in this section of the water supply network.

You are advised to store sufficient drinking water prior to 11:00pm on Tuesday 6th August 2019 for use during this time.

Council apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused to residents and businesses as a result of these works.
