Munro Street – Footpath Closure

Burdekin Shire Council advises that Munro Street footpath will be closed to all pedestrians and cyclists from Edwards Street to Parker Street. The footpath closure is scheduled to commence on Monday 5th August 2019 and is expected to be open by Thursday 8th August 2019, weather and construction conditions permitting.

The footpath closure is to allow for works to upgrade a water service that crosses Munro Street.

Munro Street will remain open during these works but will be subject to speed and parking restrictions to allow for works to be undertaken safely and efficiently.

Every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum for road users during the construction period. Burdekin Shire Council thanks residents and road users for their patience during these works.
