Footpath Works – Ross Street

Burdekin Shire Council advises that footpath construction works will be undertaken in Ross Street from Rossiter Street to Conley Street. The works are scheduled to commence on Tuesday 6 August 2019 and are expected to be completed on Friday 9 August 2019, weather and construction conditions permitting.

Ross Street will remain open during these works but will be subject to lane width restrictions and reduced speed limits to enable work to be undertaken safely and efficiently. The footpath in the vicinity of the works will be closed to all pedestrians.

Every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum for road users during the construction period. Burdekin Shire Council thanks residents and road users for their patience during these works.
