Market stalls, show bags, food vendors, live entertainment and amusement rides are just some of the attractions set to bring Mundijong Oval to life this Saturday as part of the SJ Community Fair, presented by the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.
The fair will be held from 10am-3pm this Saturday, 10 August, and includes an array of free activities including the Bendigo Bank Kids’ Zone, fire brigade and SES display, face painting, farm animals, vintage car and tractor displays and Xbox games.
Entertainment will include African drummers, a percussion workshop, sporting activities, a live radio broadcast from Heritage FM, lion dancing, stilt walkers, therapy sheep, hoola hoopers and more.
There will also be more than 75 market stalls and 40 food vendors.
Shire President Michelle Rich said the SJ Community Fair had become a popular event on the local community calendar.
“The SJ Community Fair is always a fantastic community event and this year promises to be no different,” Cr Rich.
“With free entry, I encourage everyone to come along and enjoy the range of activities and attractions planned to entertain children and adults alike.”
The Shire encourages people to share their photos from the day on social media using #SJFair2019.
The SJ Community Fair will be held at Mundijong Oval, Cockram Street, Mundijong, and is proudly supported by the Byford and Districts Community Bendigo Bank Branch, Cleanaway and Examiner Newspapers.
