Cessnock City Council is encouraging residents, visitors and businesses to undertake a quick survey about the Cessnock Local Government Area (LGA) Vineyard District.
Cessnock City Mayor, Councillor Bob Pynsent encouraged people to take the time to provide their views.
“The results of the survey will help guide future policy development for the Vineyards District. Council is taking a collaborative approach with community and industry to plan for this important area in the LGA.
“We want to hear from you about what you want to see more of, what contributes positively to the amenity of the area and what doesn’t.”
“If you live here or are just passing through we are keen to hear from you so we can plan for a positive future for our vineyards area.”
The survey is part of the Vineyard District Planning Project which aims to develop a suite of clear policy outcomes for the Cessnock Vineyard’s District that allows for and considers land use differentiation between the district’s existing ‘character’ precincts.
