A new online network has been launched to support local businesses.
The City of Ballarat has partnered with Localised, GROW Ballarat, Commerce Ballarat and Highlands LLEN to create Localised Ballarat, an online network for local businesses to promote and support business activity.
A free platform, Localised Ballarat connects businesses, supports business-to-business activity and promotes spending local.
With more than 80 per cent of local businesses looking to support other business, but often not knowing how to find and connect with these experts, Ballarat Mayor Samantha McIntosh said the aim of Localised Ballarat was to connect local businesses to each other, to local events, experts, knowledge, news, projects and buying opportunities across the Central Highlands.
“As a network member you will have an opportunity to share your business stories, find local suppliers and hopefully discover other local businesses you didn’t know existed, as well as find relevant training opportunities and promote your expertise, goods and services,” she said.
