Application for Extractive Industry Available for Inspection

Lots 3 & 27 Allenville Road Gelorup

The Shire has received an application from Allerding Associates for an Industry Extractive, Development Approval and Extractive Industry Licence for Lots 3 and 27 Allenville Road, Gelorup.

The proposal is summarised as follows:

Extend the approved extraction area of approximately 21ha of basalt resource from Lots 3 and 27 to cover a proposed extraction area of 37ha within a site area of 51ha over a period of around 30 years. Undertake crushing of the extracted material from a crushing plant, to be located at the base of the existing excavated pit in the south western corner of Lot 27.
