Public Exhibition Of The Draft Melrose Park Southern Structure Plan

City of Parramatta Council is exhibiting the draft Melrose Park Southern Structure Plan, which was considered by Council at its meeting of 24 June 2019.

Overview of the plan

A Structure Plan is a high-level planning document that aims to act as a guide for future development and ensure that the precinct is developed in a coordinated manner.

The draft Southern Structure Plan broadly identifies the proposed density, road network and open space within the precinct. The draft Southern Structure Plan does not rezone any land within the precinct or change other applicable planning controls such as height or floor space ratio. Changes to these controls will be subject to a future planning proposal that will be subject to a separate community consultation process.

Exhibition dates and locations

The draft Strategy will be on public exhibition from Wednesday 14 August 2019 to Tuesday 10 September 2019 and can be inspected in the following ways:

Written comments on the draft Southern Structure Plan are welcome and must be received by 4:30pm, Tuesday 10 September 2019. All submissions received by Council will be considered before final decisions are made.
