Perfect weather draws bumper crowd for SJ Community Fair 14 August 2019

More than 10,000 people attended the SJ Community Fair on Saturday, 10 August, and enjoyed an action-packed day of fun and entertainment.
Delivered by the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale, the fair was held at Mundijong Oval for the first time and provided the perfect setting for market stalls, show rides and live entertainment.
Shire President Michelle Rich said it was fantastic to see the community support the SJ Community Fair.
“Thank you to everyone who attended the fair and helped make it a great success,” Cr Rich said.
“We were spoilt with perfect weather and it was fantastic to see so many people enjoy the range of attractions on offer.
“It was also a great day for our community to support and learn more about our local volunteer, community and sporting groups and how they can join or be involved.”
The SJ Community Fair was supported by event sponsors Byford and Districts Community Bank Branch – Bendigo Bank, Cleanaway and Examiner Newspapers.
