What do you think of the new draft landscape plan for Ash Wednesday Park in Macedon?
We’ve worked with local residents, community groups and businesses to establish their aspirations and priorities for the park, and prepared the draft plan.
Come along to the park on 24 August for a community ‘walk shop’, a guided walk for local residents and regular visitors to view and discuss elements of the plan.
The free ‘walk shop’ will be held on Saturday 24 August at 10.30am at the park in Smith Street, Macedon. Bookings are not required unless you would like to access a trail rider which will be available to assist people with accessibility requirements. Call 5422 0333 by Friday 16 August to book a place on the trail rider.

The final landscape plan will provide a staged outline of future development of the park, with $50,000 committed to stage one works in Council’s 2019/2020 budget.
The landscape plan will assist in attracting funding for future stages when grant opportunities arise.
