It’s time to discover how reading can be your secret – or super – power. 

Ballarat Libraries is hosting a series of fun activities for pre-schoolers as part of The Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Book Week from August 17-23. 

Ballarat Libraries will feature daily Story Seekers sessions, including: 

Monday 19 August, 10.30-11.30am at Wendouree Library  Tuesday 20 August, 10.30-11.30am at Library Outreach at Lucas Community Hub  Wednesday 21 August, 10.30-11.30am at Sebastopol Library  Thursday 22 August, 10.30-11.30am at Library Outreach at Eureka Centre  Friday 23 August, 10.30-11.30am at Library Outreach at Delacombe 

Children are encouraged to join in the fun and dress up to share their secret – or super – power. 

Each year, schools and public libraries across Australia spend a week celebrating books, Australian authors and illustrators. This year’s theme is ‘Reading is My Secret Power’.
