Share an after-work drink, grab a bite to eat and enjoy live music with friends and colleagues at a new pop-up event series on the first Thursday of every month, starting 5 September.
Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said Liverpool City Council’s new pop-up event series, Love Livo Nights, would enhance the city’s cultural landscape and provide working professionals, residents, students and visitors with a unique evening experience.
“Love Livo Nights is a great opportunity to mingle with colleagues and friends after work,” Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said.
“The pop-up series will showcase our city’s streetscapes by moving to a new laneway for each event, helping to establish a vibrant night-time economy in the heart of Liverpool.
“There'll also be a fun, little twist each time – think Mexican cantina, or flavoursome Asian bites during Lunar New Year.”
The first Love Livo Nights will be held on Thursday 5 September, 5pm – 8pm, in the 35 Scott St laneway, with food, drinks and décor inspired by izakayas, small bars common throughout Japan.
“Love Livo Nights will provide great after-work entertainment and give local businesses we’ve partnered with a chance to trial activation ideas, new menu items and extended trading hours,” Mayor Waller said.
“I look forward to joining people at the first of our pop-up series on 5 September.”
Love Livo Nights is funded by the NSW Government and will be held from 5pm – 8pm at a new Liverpool CBD location on the first Thursday of every month.
