Time for "The Party" in Shields Street

It’s time to party in the city with this weekend’s Sunday on Shields program featuring a roving theatrical piece.

Sunday on Shields has been themed “The Party” this weekend, with actors from the CQU Creative Arts department dressed in colourful and tropical attire to deliver wandering performances through Shields St (between Abbott and Lake streets) to a rhythmic beat.

Another feature of this Sunday’s program will be the Children’s Magic Show featuring Cairns magician and entertainer Flip Ripley.

An international performer, Flip will be providing a close-up magic show to children of all ages.
