Roundabout repairs at the intersection of Barney Street and Dangar Street will bring minor delays for traffic from Monday 19 August.
Repairs to the road surface are expected to take five days to complete, weather permitting, and traffic controllers will be in place during this period.
Armidale Regional Council Mayor Cr Simon Murray said the current road surface at the Armidale intersection is quite rough and potentially hazardous to motorists.
“Smoother road surfaces when entering and exiting the intersection will create a safer environment for drivers,” he said.
Motorists are encouraged to take alternative routes while the road works are being completed.
