Residents that are eligible for the water rebate will receive a notice in the mail and the total rebate amount of $37.04 will be deducted from their next water account.

Rebates will be limited to:

Council has been successful in securing a grant under the Housing Acceleration Fund (Restart NSW) to fully fund a $1,200,000 project to prepare the detailed design and final business case required for the construction of a new Water Treatment Plant and upgrades to our existing Water Treatment plant. This work is underway and is scheduled for completion by October 2020.

Following completion of this design and business case, Council will prepare a further submission to the State Government to fully fund the construction of this work.
