The Rockingham Arts Centre is a multi-functional arts facility that includes a studio, exhibition space and a multi-purpose room.
Expressions of interest are sought from experienced artists who are able to deliver workshops in artistic disciplines that are not currently provided by community arts organisations in the City.
Previous examples of workshops run by facilitators at the Rockingham Arts Centre include subjects such as life drawing, small scale sculpture, Chinese painting, raffia weaving, digital art and stencilling.
City of Rockingham Mayor Barry Sammels said the Rockingham Arts Centre played an important role in boosting arts and culture in the community.
“The City of Rockingham is committed to activating the Rockingham Arts Centre by offering a range of diverse workshops and exhibitions in a variety of arts practices and forms,” Mayor Sammels said.
“It is important to highlight to facilitators that the City is not currently seeking expressions of interest in the areas of writing, ceramics, watercolours, basic techniques, basic arts and crafts.
“If you are an experienced art facilitator who can offer workshops in disciplines that are not currently being offered then we encourage you to lodge an expression of interest.”
Expressions of interest are open until Friday 13 September 2019.
EOI forms are available at the Rockingham Arts Centre on Kent Street, Rockingham.
