It will be a morning of live music, fashion and food as Mayoress Sue Curran hosts a high tea event celebrating the work of Gympie Quota. The event, which is being held on Saturday, 31 August 2019 from 10:00am to 12:00noon, will be set in the picturesque grounds of the Honeybee Gardens in Kandanga.

Honeybee Gardens, which has generously donated venue hire for the event, will be preparing a variety of delicious treats including a mix of vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options.

Mayoress, Sue Curran, is excited to be able to recognise the work of Gympie Quota and raise additional funds for the organisation. “Gympie Quota is a small group who tirelessly fundraise to give back to our community. “They support so many others throughout the Gympie region – everything from sharing gifts with residents at Cooinda aged care facility, to offering free warm coats to locals in need.” Mrs Curran said.

The event will include live music, dance performances, a fashion parade, prizes and giveaways. A key focus will be a key opportuntiy for a spot of shopping thanks to over 15 local businesses who will be creating a pop-up, exclusive mini-mall for guests.

Tickets to the event cost $55 per person and can be purchased online via www.qtix.com.au or by calling 136 246. For more information, visit www.gympie.qld.gov.au/whats-on.
