You asked, and we heard! Council has contracted a road sweeper to remove loose gravel from intersections around Cooktown's streets in response to resident requests. Please be aware of changed traffic conditions and minor delays starting tomorrow, Monday August 26, while the contractors move around improving safety on our streets. Please also be aware of extra dust, and keep your windows shut and washing in while the work is underway.
