We are hosting three separate ‘Tree Giveaway’ events to help you increase the Northern Beaches’ urban tree canopy by planting native tree species, including Banksia, Melaleuca and Eucalyptus.
Council’s ‘Tree Giveaways’ will be held at:
Dee Why Beachfront - Saturday 7 September, 10am - 2pmManly Beachfront - Saturday 21 September, 10am - 2pmRat Park ‘Beaches Market’, 1472 Pittwater Road, Warriewood - Friday 18 October, 7am - 1pmThe seedlings for our Tree Giveaways are grown from seed sourced on the Northern Beaches, and grown through local native and community nurseries.
By taking part in the Tree Giveaway, you will help educate your friends and neighbours about the importance of trees in our urban environment.
And you will be actively involved in enhancing and protecting our urban tree canopy!
Council is committed to protecting and maintaining urban trees to harness the benefits they provide for the local community now and for the generations to come.
The ‘Tree Giveaway’ is available to Northern Beaches residents only.
