The latest edition of Gannawarra Shire Council’s arts and culture guide is now available.
Arts and Culture in Gannawarra: August-December 2019 promotes key events occurring during the second half of the year, including Council-supported events Picasso and His Dog (Kerang, 18 September), Stand Up Comedy and Drama Improvisation workshops (Cohuna and Kerang, 23-25 September) and The Sapphires (Quambatook, 3 October).
The guide also promotes events hosted by community groups and organisations located within the Gannawarra, including exhibitions, workshops and major events.
“The first edition of Arts and Culture in Gannawarra, produced earlier this year, proved to be a success, and Council is pleased to present the second version of this publication to assist the community in being aware of the range of events, exhibitions and workshops on offer for the remainder of 2019,” Mayor Lorraine Learmonth said.
“The guide provides details on each performance, how to book tickets and highlights supporters of these events that help bring these diverse attractions to the Gannawarra.
“The guide also outlines ways you can keep up to date with future events and other arts and culture opportunities.”
Copies of the guide are available from Council’s Customer Service Centres in Cohuna and Kerang, your local library and neighbourhood houses located throughout the Gannawarra or online.
