Ladies Golf continued last Saturday with players participating in an 18-hole Flag Event. With half the field away competing in the Boulia Open the remaining golfers took to the course in perfect golfing conditions. Four lady golfers finished the flag event on the 18 th green using up their final shots and returning a 73 nett to compete for top honours. Kirra White secured first place by finishing with her final shot two inches from the hole. Alison Gordon placed in the runner up position just outside the two-inch position. Ulla Allen slotted into the ball rundown spot finishing twelve inches from the hole with her final shot. Nearest the pins were won by Glenda Fietz on hole 5, Kirra White on 8 and Michelle Cullen on 11 and 13. Earlier in the week the Ladies played an 18-hole Stroke Event. Glenda Fietz came up trumps with an awesome 72 nett to take home the winner's trophy. The runner trophy went to Ulla Allen for her impressive 73 nett score. Nearest the pins were won by Margie McDonald on hole 12, Nikki Mills on hole 16 and Ulla Allen on hole 18.
