Hampton Life Saving Club received a Highly Commended award for their Starfish Nippers program at this week's Victorian Disability Award ceremony. Starfish Nippers is funded by Bayside City Council through its Inclusive Bayside Grants program.
The Inclusive Grants program supports projects that encourages greater participation and inclusion of people with a disability in Bayside. Read more about other programs that received funding in 2019.

Starfish Nippers is a modified program for young individuals between 5 and 18 years (or thereabouts) with special needs, such as autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit disorder, global developmental delay, Down syndrome, or other physical or intellectual disabilities or learning difficulties.
