What kind of night market would you like to see in Parramatta? City of Parramatta Council is considering trialling a night market in the Parramatta CBD and is interested to hear what you think.
Perhaps you would like to see the river foreshore lit up at night with rows of stalls selling jewellery and items handcrafted by local makers.
Or maybe you would like Centenary Square to become a hub for all kinds of tasty street foods and delicious desserts.
Should we have a market for vinyls, vintage clothing and retro collectibles in Jubilee Park? Or a live music set-up with couches, bean bags and picnic rugs in Prince Alfred Square?
Head to Council’s engagement portal to tell us what kind of market you would be interested in, and when and where it should be held. To thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts, you can also go in the draw to win one of five $50 vouchers.
The information summary and survey are both available in Arabic, English, Hindi, Korean and Simplified Chinese via the engagement portal. Community members who would like to take the survey in these languages can click the ‘Have your say’ button and select their preferred language from the dropdown menu.
