We’ve got a plan for play!

We want you to be involved in designing a fabulous new playground at FG Tricks Reserve that can be used for many years to come.

The playground upgrade will provide linkages to the new children’s centre proposed for Fern Street Black Rock. The Fern Street site will include a new children’s centre for local families that will provide kindergarten, occasional care, playgroup, a toy library and other family services.

These upgrades will improve the accessibility, scope and integration of early childhood services in Bayside’s south.

The playground at Tricks Reserve is being upgraded in line with Councils $10.3 million plan to upgrade every playground in Bayside over 10 years, the designs will be shared for further community consultation later in 2019.

Construction for both the children’s centre and playground is anticipated to commence in 2020.
