Wyndham Cultural Centre will host the critically-acclaimed, Lady Beatle next month, starring The Voice’s Naomi Price.
Lady Beatle is a magical mystery tour through the lives and music of The Beatles, inspired by true events and set to a soundtrack of their biggest hits.
The star of the show is stage and screen star Naomi Price known from her appearance on The Voice Australia, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical; and Ladies in Black.
Arts and heritage portfolio holder Cr Tony Hooper said it was a must-see show for theatre lovers and Beatles fans alike.
“Lady Beatle captures ordinary characters from the Liverpool quartet’s back catalogue, including the barber, the banker, the fireman and the nurse in Penny Lane; the meter maid star of Lovely Rita; and the teenage runaway who inspired She’s Leaving Home,” Cr Hooper said.
“The Beatles immortal catalogue songs Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds, Eleanor Rigby, Yellow Submarine, Here Comes the Sun and Penny Lane are reimagined with original arrangements and performed live by a world-class vocalist and four-piece band.”
“With an electrifying live band, psychedelic lighting and even Beatles-themed cocktails on offer, it will be a wonderful night out for Beatles fans.”
