There were 4669 head of cattle yarded for the Blackall combined agents weaner and store sale on Thursday. Cattle were drawn from Katherine NT, Winton, Corfield, Boulia, Julia Creek, Cloncurry, Charleville, Augathella, Tambo and surrounding districts, with quality lines of weaner steers reaching a top of 304c and averaging 267c, slightly back on last fortnight's prices. Weaner heifers matched last fortnight and fat cattle prices were stronger overall.
