The Mount Isa Golf Club held a 18 Hole Stableford on Saturday August 31 with a competitive day of competition. The winner on 44 points was Nils Krutzfeldt just edging out Jason Crockett on a count back. The ball run down went to Phil Kiernan, Tony Simpson, Mark Koolman and Ross Booth. Nearest to Pins were Kevin Johns on hole five,Torren Bocos on hole eight, Tony Simpson on hole 10, Berkley Gowland on hole 17 and John Dunne on hole 18. On August 24, 17 members of the Mount Isa Golf Club travelled to Boulia for the Channel Country Open with plenty of success Angie Sciascia won the A Grade for the ladies, Prue Dunstan taking out the B Grade and Liz Jakeman making it a clean slate for the ladies taking out the C Grade. For the men Mick Fraser hit a massive 47 points to win the 18 Hole Stableford on the Saturday. Bob Jakeman is starting to hit some form and won the C Grade. Craig Mills (our local greenkeeper} hit two great shots on the 11th hole to out muscle the younger blokes to win the longest second shot for the weekend. Mick Fraser and Nils Krutzfeldt claim victories at Boulia Golf Club

The winner on 44 points was Nils Krutzfeldt just edging out Jason Crockett on a count back.

The ball run down went to Phil Kiernan, Tony Simpson, Mark Koolman and Ross Booth.
