Liverpool’s first after-work bar and food pop-up, Love Livo Nights, was a huge hit with Liverpool workers and students.

Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said she was delighted with the reception Council’s first after-work pop-up event received from the community.

“We created Love Livo Nights to showcase our city’s unique streetscapes, while helping to establish a vibrant night-time economy in the heart of Liverpool,” Mayor Waller said.

“Around 200 working professionals and students came together for a relaxed evening of great entertainment and Japanese-inspired street food, creating a fantastic ambience in the laneway alongside Out of Office Espresso.

“It was fabulous to see that our inaugural pop-up event was so warmly welcomed by the Liverpool community – our city is ready for this kind of night-time activity.”

The next Love Livo Nights pop-up will be held on Thursday 3 October, 5pm – 8pm, in the laneway of Moore Coffee.

“With the weather warming up, our next pop-up event at Moore Coffee will include a nod to the flavours and colours of Germany’s springtime festival, Oktoberfest,” Mayor Waller said.

“I invite people who will be working or studying in Liverpool to come along for an after-work drink, bite to eat and to enjoy live music with friends and colleagues.”

Love Livo Nights is funded by the NSW Government and is held from 5pm – 8pm at a new Liverpool CBD location on the first Thursday of every month.
