Barkly Region Youth Representatives

The Barkly Regional Deal Interim Governance Table is seeking 2 youth (1 Male & 1 Female)

The Barkly Regional Deal is an agreement between the Australian Government, Northern Territory Government and the Barkly Regional Council. There is $78.4 million for 28 projects to be developed over the next 4 to 10 years. The Deal gives community members a voice through the Barkly Regional Deal Interim Governance Table.

Part of the Barkly Regional Deal is a number of initiatives that affect our youth, to assist with these projects, the Interim Governance Table is looking for 2 youth representatives (1 male & 1 female) to be the voice of Barkly youth.

Are you between 18 and 25 years old?

Do you want to have a say about the future of the Barkly Region?

Do you want to be a strong voice for youth in the Barkly Region?

If you answered yes to these questions then this may be an ideal way to volunteer your time and make a difference in your community.

To apply you need to be a resident of the Barkly Region,  keen to speak up for other youth about what is important and able to attend regular meetings, please apply by either visiting the Barkly Regional Deal Office at the 1st floor of the Government Centre (Peko Road, opposite the Pool) or call Tim Candler on 0427 193 469.
