Water Supply – Interruption to Service – Portland

 Council wishes to advise that the water supply to Portland will be affected on 17th September 2019 due to planned maintenance works on the Fish River Water Supply.

Residents may experience a reduction in water pressure or no water between 8am – 4pm on Tuesday, 17th September 2019 due to planned maintenance works being undertaken on the Fish River Water Supply.

Upon return of normal service, residents may experience dirty water for a period. Council will endeavour to minimise this by flushing the mains. Before using the water for domestic purposes, residents are advised to run a tap to ensure the water is clean and any dirt released into the system has been flushed.

Council wishes to apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and would like to ensure residents that the service interruption will be kept to minimum.
