Residents with young children are encouraged to save the date for the annual free-entry Children’s Week Expo promising lots of local service information for parents and fun activities for the kids.
Council staff will be on hand to answer questions about a range of services including kindergartens, family day care, immunisation sessions, key ages and stages and maternal and child health nurse visits.
Children can enjoy free activities including:
Face painting, Petting zoo, Community gardening, Interactive games and activities, and Storytime with the library. Expo detailsWhen: 10.00am - 1.00pm on Tuesday 22 October Where: Family and Children’s Services Building 144 Normanby St, Warragul
The expo will be held in the outdoor play area (weather permitting) so parents are encouraged to bring sunscreen, a hat and a water bottle. Additional parking will be available off Cambridge Drive.
