Sewer Relining Project

In July 2019, Council awarded a contract to Inter-flow Pty Ltd to undertake, cleaning and lining of the damaged sewer mains in Yass to reduce the potential of sewer blockages and overflows. This work is planned to commence in early September 2019 and will be completed by February 2020.

The work is located in both commercial and residential areas and in Victoria Park.

Inter-flow has directly consulted with the affected residents and have also sent a letter to those impacted. Letter to residents

Initially the work will consists of the following.

Clean the sewer mains CCTV survey of the cleaned sewer mains

Yass Valley Council understands the impacts that the work may have on surrounding residents/businesses and every effort will be made to minimise these impacts.

Any updates will be posted to this page and residents/businesses will be notified accordingly.
