New facilities for Munro Martin Parklands

A dressing room, box office and portable bar are part of a $1.3 million upgrade planned for Munro Martin Parklands.

Council has approved work to start on additions for the Performance Stage Back of House (dressing and green rooms, toilets and an office), box office and audio/lighting needs, along with a portable bar and cold room, to enhance MMP operations.

Improved electrical services, including additional connections for catering stalls and other commercial operators are part of the project, along with an upgrade to the Minnie Street gate to provide improved site access for contractors and emergency services.

Funding for the project has been supported through the State Government’s Building Our Regions Fund ($650,000), and Federal Government’s Building Better Regions Fund ($500,000).
