Some of Australia’s biggest artists will take to the stage at a new music festival at Campbelltown Athletics Centre in January.

Local boys, The Rubens and ARIA Award-winning hip hop artist, Illy are the headline acts for Out of Bounds, a new music festival for the Macarthur region and south west Sydney.

Presented by I OH YOU and Frontier Touring, Out of Bounds is an all ages event (15+) and will be held on Saturday, 18 January 2020 from 1pm to 10pm.

Mallrat, Trophy Eyes, WAAX, Alex The Astronaut, GRAACE, Clypso and Lex Deluxe will also perform along with DJ sets from DZ Deathrays and Northeast Party House.

Mayor George Brticevic said Out of Bounds would be an exciting new addition to the Macarthur region’s line up of events.

“Attracting a music festival of this scale demonstrates the potential of our city to become a destination of choice for entertainment events,” Cr Brticevic said.

“2020 is shaping up to be an exciting year, especially within the Campbelltown Sports Stadium precinct, which is proving capable of not only hosting world-class sporting events but is also a fantastic concert venue,” he said.

“This a real coup for Campbelltown that can help the area’s economic potential to flourish.”

General public tickets are on sale from Tuesday, 17 September.
