Two former contestants from Delta Goodrem's team on Channel Nine's 'The Voice Australia' are set to rock the stage at this year's Northern Outback Business Awards in November. Pop artist and former member of super group 'The Collective' Trent Bell and popular cover artist Tim Conlon will take to the stage at the Buchanan Park Entertainment Centre event. Organisers Commerce North West said the reduced number of award categories would allow for more time to network as well as enjoy the live entertainment. ""With award categories now reconfigured to champion that of national awards programs, we are able to once again incorporate live entertainment and the showcasing of local talent into the evenings program," event Manager Katie Schrodter said. "To be supported by guest Emcee and popular radio announcer Jodie Shepherd of 4LM and local surprise entertainment the Northern Outback Business Awards will be a true gala event for the region." Showcasing excellence from right across the business sector, the evening will honour deserving businesses from the local government areas of Boulia, Burke, Carpentaria, Cloncurry, Croydon, Doomadgee, Etheridge, Flinders, McKinlay, Mornington Island, Mount Isa and Richmond. She said nominations for deserving businesses and customer service heroes were rolling in with awards to be presented on November 9. "With an increased number of tickets on sale from the Mount Isa Civic Centre from October 1, and an all new optional table service up-grade, those keen to head along are encouraged to secure tickets fast," she said. You have until October 4 to nominate a business or a customer service hero for the 2019 Jemena Northern Outback Business Awards. Nominate at the Commerce North West website with thousands of dollars in cash, trophies and prizes on offer in another event first.
