The City of Greater Dandenong is excited to announce Tatterson Park as the selected location for the much-anticipated Keysborough South Community Hub.
Two potential sites have been identified within the 50ha Council owned reserve and Council is calling on the community to provide feedback on their preferred option for the new hub.
Option 1 is located in close proximity to the northern sports oval and Springers Leisure Centre.
Option 2 is located on the corner of Chapel Road and Villiers Road. This site is home to the current dog park. The dog park will be re-located approximately 150m inside the reserve if this option is chosen.
The Community Hub will incorporate a variety of community services and multi-purpose facilities and spaces.
These include community meeting rooms, Kindergarten, Child Care, Maternal and Child Health and outdoor play/community spaces.
A new access road is also proposed as part of project. The Villiers Road extension will improve access for local residents who live east of the Reserve and will consolidate the Tatterson Park Master Plan.
