Draft Community Engagement StrategyFairfield City Council is pleased to present the Draft 2020 Community Engagement Strategy (Draft Strategy) for the community’s review and feedback.
At the September Outcomes Committee Meeting, councillors voted to place the Draft 2020 Community Engagement Strategy onto public exhibition.
The Draft Strategy aims to ensure that all stakeholders are able to access, participate in and provide input into the development, implementation and review of Council policies, strategies, plans or programs. It is designed to be a practical tool, which will assist Council with identifying stakeholders, including those who are ‘hard to reach,’ and how Council will consult and engage with all of our communities about planning for Fairfield City’s future.
These plans can be viewed at Council’s Administration Centre, Libraries and Leisure Centres, and on Council’s website here, at any time during the exhibition period. All feedback received will be considered at a future Council meeting prior to adoption.
The Draft 2020 Community Engagement Strategy will be on public exhibition from 13 September to 14 October 2019.
