Blue Gum Farms, drumming workshops, a Jurassic Safari and making miniature gardens are all options to keep the kids amused at Toowoomba Regional Libraries during these Spring school holidays.

A variety of exciting activities, story sessions and workshops are planned in all the region’s libraries from Monday, September 23 to Friday, October 4.

Toowoomba Regional Council Libraries and Cultural Services Portfolio Leader, Cr Joe Ramia said the Library catered for all tastes and allowed children to learn a new skill or hobby while they were on Spring holidays.

“Libraries are fun and inviting places to be, not only to find great books to read but also to learn new skills, be creative, gather information and have fun,” Cr Ramia said.

“This Spring, multi-award-winning children’s program, Blue Gum Farm TV will present ‘The Outback Boogie’ at each of our libraries throughout the region (except Toowoomba City).
