October is Small Business Month, and in support of the NSW Government’s annual celebration of the small business sector Wollondilly Council will be hosting two workshops aimed at local businesses, including those who are new or just starting up.
The first workshop, presented by NSW Business Connect Advisor Alex Hawkins, is called How to Start Your Own Business and will focus on topics such as business registration, legal requirements, council requirements, insurance and business planning.
The second workshop, Brand Building for Small Business is a two hour fast-paced and interactive workshop where attendees will discover what they really do and why, find out who their true avatar is and learn their unique place in the market and how to own it. Presenter Kerry Dover will help business owners uncover their brand’s personality.
Council’s Tourism & Business Investment Manager, Kevin Abey said, “Wollondilly Council is committed to supporting small business and we look forward to partnering with Business Connect and the Western Sydney Business Centre for Small Business Month this October.”
“We are very excited to sponsor these workshops that will provide valuable assistance to our local businesses with starting up as well as developing their brands.”
