Seniors wanting to brush up on their tech knowledge or learn new skills can sign up to the Tech Savvy Seniors sessions throughout October.

The popular program is back at Glenquarie Library, 12 Brooks St Macquarie Fields, from Wednesday 2 October and begins with an introduction to computers.

It will run each Wednesday and includes other topics such as introduction to the internet, email, android tablets and social media.

“This is a great program which enables older members of our community to learn new skills which can assist them in a world that is increasingly relying on technology to conduct day-to-day business,” said Mayor George Brticevic.

“Tech Savvy Seniors has been a very popular program in the past and is sure to be booked out so get in early to secure your place,” Cr Brticevic said.

The program is provided through grant funding from the State Government and Telstra.

Quick reference guides from the State Library of NSW will be provided.

Places are limited so book now.
