The Minister for Regional Transport and Roads the Hon Paul Toole met with Lithgow Mayor Clr Ray Thompson in Lithgow last Friday after checking progress on Lithgow’s Union Theatre upgrade (joint funded by the NSW Government and Lithgow City Council).

“The Minister is a regular visitor to Lithgow and the villages in the LGA and these meetings allow us to raise our issues with the Minister and gain insight into the Governments thinking on a range of matters.” said Mayor Thompson.

“During our meeting we canvassed matters ranging from rail services to Penrith and Sydney, the development of the aerotropolis, Roads in the Lithgow LGA, the drought and future water supplies, and the introduction of the two Bathurst Bullet rail services due to arrive in Tarana and thereafter Lithgow on the 16th September 2019, and the discussion as always was productive.” said the Mayor.
